Ms. Shi Shi, or Shi for short, was saved literally and figuratively by her mom, Angela. Shi’s previous owner wasn’t able to take care of Shi properly so Angela stepped in and gave this gorgeous velvet hippo a loving and devoted home. Shi Shi is 7 now, with the cutest underbite, and is far more carefree than she looks. She isn’t a fan of skateboards, but other dogs and butt skritches are the best things as far as she’s concerned. And toys she can take apart. Shi and Angela live in NE.
Edith is a five month old miniature Australian Shepard. I noticed her in Lincoln Park one day when she was trying to engage an English Bulldog eight times her size and thought, “That’s a spunky one. And such big ears!” Mom Caitlin and dad Porter say Edith’s favorite things are sticks and walks, but she will freeze in place when they put her harness on for the walk.
Edith started out life as a Marylander, but now lives on the NE side of the Hill.
